In high schools utilizing career coaches, over 40% of students who didn’t originally have plans to attend a post-secondary institution changed their minds when they met with the career coach.

The overall college-going rate for public high school graduates in Louisiana was 46% for the '05-06 school year.

92% of the students Career Compass worked with in the '07-08 school year applied to and/or were accepted to a post-secondary institution by high school graduation.

Career Compass has partnered with 9 school districts this school year! We are providing college and career coaching to 26 area high schools...over 4,000 high school seniors! Our district partners are: East Baton Rouge Parish School System, Central Community School System,
Advance Baton Rouge, Ascension Public Schools, Zachary Community School Board , City of Baker School System, West Baton Rouge Parish Schools, Iberville Parish Schools, and Pointe Coupee Parish School Board.
